A monthly online forum for YOU to share knowledge and experience as WE learn together to find US a better way forward.

Join your fellow UN Volunteers, UNV colleagues, and experts each month as we discuss topics that matter to you. It is also a space for you to interact and network with fellow volunteers by sharing your experience and good practices on thematic areas. Plus, practice your public speaking, facilitation and presentation skills in a safe space.

Career Enhancement Academy

These seven interactive group coaching sessions, with career development experts, will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the career exploration process, recruitment and interviews, as well as practical tools, tips, and action plan to engage strategically with your career progression and more.

Join the cause with our monthly workshops

Be a human rights champion!

Join UNV Anti-Racism Dialogues online and learn how to address racism and discrimination in a safe space. Stand up against racial prejudice, disrespectful attitudes, and discrimination. Every day and everywhere.

500 of your fellow volunteers have already joined the cause to fight racism in 2022. YOUR helo is critical for the UN in creating a safe and dignified environment for all.

Stand up against sexual misconduct!

Join the workshop on Prevention of Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment (PSEAH) with your fellow volunteers.

Together, you will discuss potential scenarios you may encounter, as well as the reporting and support mechanisms available, and how the organisation react with disciplinary measures.

Sign up for a session in English (11th October & 8th November), French (26th October) & Spanish (22nd November). Dates in December are also available.

Take these course to become an Inclusion Champion

The new free certification course on "UN Disability Inclusion Strategy - Putting Words into Action" aims to foster a disability-inclusive mindset and embed disability inclusion in your day-to-day work activities.

Learn about United Nations Disability Inclusion Strategy (UNDIS) and key concepts and approaches related to disability inclusion, which will help you identify and take specific actions to implement the UNDIS in your area of expertise.

Visit the module page on the UNSSC website for more information. And update completion information on your UVP profile under “Qualifications>> Other Qualifications”.

Complete the free certification course on Disability Inclusion: Building an Inclusive and Accessible United Nations. A key UN initiative as part of our disability inclusion strategy that all personnel, including you as a UN Volunteer, should be aware of.

You will become more familiar with the language and social norms, assistive technologies, and barriers faced by people with disabilities. You will also be taught how to navigate situations in which colleagues need accommodations.

Set aside 60 minutes – it’s available on UNV eCampus in English, French and Spanish. And update completion information on your UVP profile under “Qualifications>> Other Qualifications”.

If you haven’t already - now accessible for free via eCampus!
