Hello UN Volunteer, See what learning opportunities are coming up and all the big news for you this month. |
|
|
In September, we highlighted online volunteering support to the refugee response in Romania with UNICEF – read how Online Volunteers disseminated information on basic human services to Ukrainian refugees. Content from Latin America and the Caribbean put a spotlight on talent outreach in communities where UNV Peru partnered with two UN agencies – IOM and UNICEF. Also, take a look at how the engineering expertise of UN University Volunteers contributed to sustainable infrastructure with UNCDF in Nepal. Former UN Volunteers are always our greatest ambassadors – a blog by Michèle Diane Karambiri centers on her volunteer journey in West and Central Africa. On International Day of Peace, 21 September, we recognized the contribution of UN Volunteers to peace and stability in Libya with UNSMIL. |
