Volunteer Onboarding: Off to a Great Start! This month’s onboarding workshops brought together UN Volunteers from around the world to start their assignments with knowledge, confidence, and connection. Delivered in English, French, and Spanish, the sessions provided critical information and resources to build a strong foundation by clarifying their responsibilities as UN Volunteers, highlighting the importance of cultural awareness, ethics, and UN values, and providing practical guidance on how to access essential learning tools and support networks during their assignment. Volunteers Level up their Excel Skills! In April, hundreds of UN Volunteers Volunteers participated in an exclusive You, We, Us webinar led by Jakub Novosedliak, an Online Volunteer. The session covered five essential Microsoft Excel functions, from cleaning and organizing data to building insightful reports with Pivot Tables. Volunteers walked away with practical tools to organize information and support reporting tasks, strengthening their essential data skills during the assignments.
